It's like comparing phone call quality but one of them you recorded on an analog tape recorder from down the hall then recorded the recording with your smartphone's mic. It's not a comparison at all. It's clearly not modern, but the quality is good. It's probably a lens issue, or the picture of the statue is in the background of a shot of something  closer up.
