 There was a Dad Man Myth Bearded Legend American Flag Shirt new skate park/ half court that was built in an empty lot down the street from me (CA). I put money in for the project and so did a lot of families, local businesses and people of the community as we wanted the kids to have some where to hang out and skate and play BBall. City counsel agreed to pay for upkeep like regular park. Not even with in a year someone shit on the ramps, broke out the lights, destroyed the bathrooms-doors are broken off stalls -TP dispenser broken off wall toilet and urinal stuffed with paper towels you get the picture. City keeps it clean but won’t pay for repairs. No one wants to now because it’s useless as vagrants and homeless drug addicts live there now.

Some photo nut is gonna downvote me and call me a moron or something, but they absolutely do decent quality scanning. Worlds better than the 'photo of a photo' method. OP said elsewhere on this thread that this was from a film (as in moving picture), which was transferred to VHS, then to digital (didn't give any details how though). It's like comparing phone call quality but one of them you recorded on an analog tape recorder from down the hall then recorded the recording with your smartphone's mic. It's not a comparison at all. It's clearly not modern, but the quality is good. It's probably a lens issue, or the picture of the statue is in the background of a shot of something  closer up.  It would Halloween Town Class Of 98 University Official Top Shirt have lost the full gold red color to oxidation and become the familiar green color by 1920. So by the time of this photo it may have been a different shade of green but it would have still been similar to what we currently know it as. So in 1937 the statue was just about 51 years old which means it looked pretty much how it looks today. After about 20 - 30 years I believe it fully turned the color we see today. Most of the change happened within the first 8 or so years. Very rapid I wonder if people were amazed or heart broken watching it change so quickly. I don't know if you specifically mean the color of the Statue of Liberty or just in general.
