 I was just Day Of The Dead Blue And Purple Sugar Skulls Shirt doing some solo backpacking in the Grand Tetons about a month ago. I was relaxing by a lake when a mother black bear and a singular cub (they usually come in pairs, which suggests her other cub didn't survive for some reason) came down the hillside literally 20 feet behind me. I didn't realize they were there until they were extremely close. I immediately recognized them as black bears (thank fuck!), so I did my best to calmly back away and just give them space. Mother bear didn't seem worried about me...they went on eating Huckleberries and took a quick swim.  At the end of the day, they're all wild animals...if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time, it could get a little nasty.

Some photo nut is gonna downvote me and call me a moron or something, but they absolutely do decent quality scanning. Worlds better than the 'photo of a photo' method. OP said elsewhere on this thread that this was from a film (as in moving picture), which was transferred to VHS, then to digital (didn't give any details how though). It's like comparing phone call quality but one of them you recorded on an analog tape recorder from down the hall then recorded the recording with your smartphone's mic. It's not a comparison at all. It's clearly not modern, but the quality is good. It's probably a lens issue, or the picture of the statue is in the background of a shot of something  closer up.  It would Halloween Town Class Of 98 University Official Top Shirt have lost the full gold red color to oxidation and become the familiar green color by 1920. So by the time of this photo it may have been a different shade of green but it would have still been similar to what we currently know it as. So in 1937 the statue was just about 51 years old which means it looked pretty much how it looks today. After about 20 - 30 years I believe it fully turned the color we see today. Most of the change happened within the first 8 or so years. Very rapid I wonder if people were amazed or heart broken watching it change so quickly. I don't know if you specifically mean the color of the Statue of Liberty or just in general.
