It cinematography and vfx were stunning, but the story was so uninteresting. Same. I cannot think of another movie with so much action that was somehow boring enough that I literally fell asleep during watching. I didn't mind it but it was not total recall. I like space trash. In all fairness the original total recall is nothing like the book by PKD. It’s the movie that made me think “You know what, maybe i never actually liked Colin Farrell.” I don’t know how the campiness of him as Bullseye in Daredevil wasn’t a red flag before that. It’s strange when Arnold Schwarzenegger literally just basically plays himself in every movie and somehow that was clearly the superior performance between the two.
